Captain and Tennille

After I took the seat cushions apart I needed to re-glue the bottom of one of the chairs.

Ok it’s dry, time to revamp the bottom.  I stapled some support on it and used some cardboard strips I cut up for support, to try to distribute the wait over the strip instead of just being pulled from the staples.

After the paint I put on a coat of jell stain.  They are ready for their new home at the Office where I work.

Here they are at the office, I work at Holmes Collision Repair in Muscatine Iowa

Elizabeth

She is for sale
$100.00

I have had Elizabeth for a while. She was a simple makeover, just scuff and paint.
Two coats of paint a little distressing and top coat of gel stain.

This is her with a just the paint.

OK I started the Jell coat

All done and ready to Rock!

Thanks for stopping by.

Emily

This is Emily
She is for sale $65.00
she is 13-1/2 wide by 36-1/2 tall by 8-1/2 deep

I have never seen a piece like this before,  the top is some kind of stone or marble.

This one needs a little TLC but she will be a beauty when done.

Just a little glue here and there and a few tools to hold her together for a couple of days.

Ok I did get all the bad spots filled in and a fresh coat of paint on her.  I also put on a coat of Jell stain.

I love the way she turned out.
Thanks for stopping by.

Annie

My mom gave me this little table.

She needed some TLC!
I re-glued the legs, and gave her a coat of yellow paint.
I was not happy with this color so she received another coat of paint.  When I distressed her the yellow and the wood came through,  I really liked how she turned out.  Annie found a home at my soon to be daughter-in-laws home.

Just hangin' out

Last summer I revamped a entertainment center and did not use the door. I have been moving it around all summer trying to figure out what to do with it. I also needed someplace for my brushes to dry so that old door has new life.
